WELDING ROLLER BIT—MH-3

MH-3 series roller bit is FIRMTECH’s latest and most promising design and is designed for contractors who need to drill piles. developed through extensive collaboration with clients to address common operational challenges. This model features a flat auto-angle body for quick fixing and welding precisely in position and a full-faced cone with 52 inserts, ensuring superior performance in piling operations.

Cone

  • The MH-3 model uses the third generation cone design.
  • The cone is equipped with 52 carbide teeth (inserts).
  • The insert spec is 14*52
  • The diameter of the cone with teeth is 139mm
  • The random layout design of the cone ensures no blind spot drilling, improves drilling speed and working life
  • All bearings are covered with carbide to provide additional hardness and durability to adapt to various rock types.

Body

  • MH-3 adopts the fourth generation body design.
  • The body width is 92mm.
  • The flat automatic angle body design is adopted to facilitate quick fixing and replacement. This design solves the conflicting needs of fast welding and can suitable for easy welding and replacement of rollers on site or in the workshop.
  • The body adopts a vacuum grease injection system to ensure that the bearing has sufficient lubrication throughout its service life.
  • In addition to traditional seals, additional CNC surface treatment is applied as an additional seal to prevent dust from entering the bearing.
 

Onsite Application

1. Deep foundation construction: MH-3 can effectively drill into hard rock formations and is suitable for deep foundation construction of high-rise buildings, bridges and other large infrastructure projects. Its durability allows it to operate efficiently in holes up to 24 meters deep and beyond.

2. Complex geological conditions: In hard rock formations where picks are not suitable, the MH-3 roller bit is used in conjunction with the core barrel to effectively break through the hard rock formations and ensure drilling quality and efficiency.

3. Urban construction projects: In urban environments with limited space, the high efficiency of MH-3 can significantly shorten construction time and reduce the impact on the surrounding environment, making it suitable for all types of urban infrastructure construction.

4. Large diameter drilling: The MH-3 roller bit can be used in cutting ring  for projects that require large diameter drilling, such as underground continuous wall construction or large pile foundation projects.
