The process involves welding the holder securely onto the core barrel, followed by attaching the roller to the holder using a bolt system. This design eliminates the need for repositioning and welding the roller each time a replacement is required.

Onsite Application

1. For the manufacturing of the cutting ring, a 50mm steel plate can be adopted to enhance both strength and durability. The FIRMTECH vertical positioning method is employed for precise placement.

2. The fixation of the roller bits utilizes a dual assurance strategy, combining bolt fastening with spot welding at the joint on the back. This approach significantly reduces the risk of bolts coming loose due to vibration or the possibility of the roller bits detaching due to weld failure, ensuring a more reliable and secure connection.

3. For roller bit replacement, use a gas planer to cut off the welded joint, dismantle the bolts, replace with new ones, and  then retighten the bolts and spot weld the joint as shown in the figure above.
